A Visit to Santa

We took Hannah to see Santa yesterday. Then we went to Famous Dave's for a delicious rib dinner. We took the long way home and found many beautiful decorations with lots of lights.

Christmas Concert

Hannah's Christmas Concert was on Wednesday. The kids did a terrific job.

Shopping

We picked Hannah up from school yesterday and spent the rest of the afternoon shopping. She had so much fun trying on clothes and making decisions about what to purchase. She sure is developing her own sense of style. We went to Dave's Bar B Q for dinner. Hannah and I like Smokey Bones better, but Grandpa is correct when he says the sides at Dave's taste better. Hannah and I split a platter of baby back ribs, corn, corn muffin, fries and cole slaw. She even had room for a root beer float for dessert.

Dinner at Italian Gardens

We took Hannah to Italian Gardens for dinner on Friday. It has really been a long time since we were there. Hannah loved to throw pennies into the fountain and make a wish. Some things never change.

Annapolis

We took Hannah to Annapolis yesterday. We went on a boat ride, had lunch at Phillip's (yum, crab cakes) and ran over to Border's so she could spend the rest of her birthday gift cards. The weather was beautiful.

Catching Up

It has been a long time since I have posted. School is now out for the summer. The day after school closed, I had the first cataract surgery and yesterday I had the second one. The difference in color and intensity is amazing. I have to wait for two weeks to get my new glasses. I can really see better without the glasses than with them now. I still need the prisms, however. Everything is clearer but I still have trouble focusing on one item. I still need reading glasses, also. I'll have to wait until all heals and then get the new prescription.

Cindy and Carlos got married on the 14th of June. The wedding was beautiful. They went to the Pocono's for their honeymoon.

We took Hannah and Seamus up to St. Michael's for the day on Tuesday, the 17th. That is the best town to go to with your dogs. Almost every store allows dogs to enter. The Crab Claw has outdoor seating and they love dogs. Hannah is getting very good with the crab hammer. She and Seamus have a ball in St. Michael's.

Hannah turned 10 on Saturday, the 21st. I can't believe she is already 10! It was just yesterday when we were pushing her around in her stroller, wasn't it? She has grown into such a beautiful young lady. She is confident, poised, enthusiastic, and a joy to be with. I treasure each day we spend with her.

Bugaboo Creek

We took Hannah to Bugaboo Creek for dinner last night. Besides really good food, they have realistic stuffed animals that move, jump out of things and talk. Hannah loves it.

Seamus went to the doggy spa yesterday and got his spring grooming.
