Homework

Sometimes the hardest part of homework is getting started. After mulling over what snack she wanted, and letting the dogs out, and then playing with the dogs, Hannah started her homework. She had math, spelling, and reading. She finished quickly and got it all right. Then we went to Fuddruckers. What a neat place. We all got hamburgers and piled them with lots of veggies. After eating, Hannah got to spend her quarters on junk. She loved it. We took home brownies for everyone.

Ahoy, Mates! It's Pirate Weekend

Well, Brandon decided at the last minute that he didn't want to go. That left us with a very sad little girl. She was really looking forward to his coming. She quickly snapped out of it and had a great time anyway. She got to "babysit" Ahja, shop, see a PeeWee Pirate show, and play games. She really enjoyed the fried pickles and cheese bread for lunch. Later on in the afternoon, Grandpa suprised her with an Italian Ice. She wears it very well, thank you. She played with Baby Stupina for the first time. She even got Brandon a present. A great weekend.

That Child Can Shop

After a stop at home to finish her homework, we took off to Borders. She got two American Girl books. Then we went to Michael's for a basket for Faire. Aunt Cindy has a basket, Aunt Cat has a basket, Grandma has a basket, and Hannah needed a basket. She finally found one that she liked and then hit the toy aisle. She picked out a magnetic toy and was satisfied. After a dinner at Bob Evans, we took her home. I love spending time with her on Thursdays. On Saturday, we will take Hannah and Brandon to Faire. It is Pirate Weekend. Lots of friends and family are coming. Hope the weather cooperates.

Momma Hannah

Hannah went to Faire on Saturday. She turned into a little mother. She got to hold Ahja. Sanday and Russ' little girl. Grandpa's coworker, her husband, and daughter also came to Faire. Hannah took very good care of Sarah, showing her the ropes. She also sang with Stupina. She had a great day. We did, too. Next week is Pirate Weekend and Brandon is coming with us.

Shopping is a word problem

We picked Hannah up from school and stopped by the house to let Onyx and Zoey out. Mike's car was there and Bailey was home. And walking!!! Mike brought him home from the hospital today. He has to stay in his kennel most of the time, but he is home and recovering. What a relief!!!!!
We went to Target. Hannah was allowed to spend $15.00. She picked out a toy that cost $7.99. She figured out that she had about $7.00 left to spend. After much looking, she found one for $3.99 and then she figured out that she had about $3.00 left. Off to the books we went and she found a sticker book for $2.99. We covered the tax. A mathematical shopping trip. We had dinner at Applebees and went to Rita's to get frozen ices.
We'll take her to Faire on Saturday.

Faire on Saturday, Sept. 10th

We took Hannah to Faire on Saturday. She won at crossbows! She won a 2005 Faire mug. What a girl! She attended Alora's birthday party. They had a ball. They went on the pony rides, the elephant ride, played at the playground and ate lots of birthday cake. We also met up with Stupina, singing in the dirt. After running around all day, she fell asleep on the way home.

Miracle Needed NOW!!!!

As some of you know, Hannah has 3 dogs, 2 labs and a corgie. We just found out that both labs have cancer. Onyx, her black lab, had some of his toes removed, but the cancer spread to his chest and is not operable. He has 3 to 6 months left. Bailey, her yellow lab, has a cancerous tumor on his spine. He will have surgery tomorrow. They hope to remove most of the tumor. If they can do this, he will have about a year to live. Right now, the tumor is preventing him from walking. His whole back end is paralyzed. Send good thoughts, prayers, and anything else you can think of. We are devastated!

More pics from Faire

Face Painting

Aunt Cindy and Hannah got their faces painted.

More friends

Hannah also saw Stupina's show and met up with Mother Goose and Maudie. Her she is back on stage at the Children's Sing-a-long.

Seeing Old Friends

Hannah saw her friend MaryAnn Jung. She is now the Pirate Queen of the Faire. MaryAnn had a special present for Hannah, a priate parrot. His name is Perry.

Faire At Last

Hannah came to Faire with us today. After "stealing" our bacon at breakfast, we headed over to the booth to get things set up. Then we went shopping for shoes. Her shoes from last year were much too small. As you can see, she was so happy to be back.
