A Very Busy Week

MSA testing is finally over. It is very discouraging to test kids that do not speak English, since the entire test is in English. We were supposed to pick up Hannah on Thursday, but Grandpa got a call on Wednesday night to come over and sit for a sick Hannah on Thursday so that Gina and Mike could go to work. She woke up on Wednesday throwing up and feeling sick. She had the stomach virus that is going around. She seemed fine on Thursday, so they sent her back to school on Friday. At 1:00 on Friday, Grandpa got another call that she wasn't feeling well at school. He went over to watch her until Mike and Gina got home. On Saturday, they met us at Border's for a book buying spree. I had a 25% discount for Teach Appreciation Day. We all splurged and bought lots of books. Hannah found another book on hamsters and one about dinosaurs. She also got a couple of magazines of puzzles. This week we will see her on Thursday and all day Sunday. I hope the weather cooperates so we can take Seamus and her to Annapolis dock for the afternoon. Maybe we can have a picnic. Tonight Grandpa and I are going up to Baltimore for Ben's engagement party. Sam and Sydney are in from Seattle. It will be great to see them.

Two Days with Hannah

On Thursday, after all the homework was done, we decided to try out a new place for dinner. We went to the Irish Channel Pub and had a great dinner. Hannah really liked it. She talked about Faire and all the festivals we would be going to this Spring and Summer. We are all looking forward to getting into garb again and seeing old friends. On Saturday, we went to Meemaw's 90th birthday party. A good time was had by all.

Hannah Days

We had Hannah two afternoons in a row. Yesterday, we went to Borders for a poetry book and to Bob Evans for dinner. Today, we brought Seamus with us and had Shoreline Seafood for dinner. Mike and Gina went out with friends from her office. Enjoy the pics.

Another sad day.

Mike and Gina are having Onyx put down today. The cancer has filled his lungs. He will be missed. We all loved him very much.
