A Crazy Week

We have had a very busy week. Nanny was rushed to the hospital on Jan. 11 with breathing problems. They discovered that she had a massive infection and began large doses of antibiotics. She was placed in isolation in ICU. Grandma spent most of the week at the hospital with her. The medicine finally began to work this past Monday. On Thursday, she was moved to the Step Down Care Unit, where she is today. She has started eating soft food and seems to be getting better. Her short term memory is shot for now. We have a long road ahead of us. We did manage to take Hannah out to dinner on Monday, and have her over here on Thursday. She is still the light of our lives.

Seamus Goes to the Groomer

Seamus went to the groomer today for the first time. He really did well. He did not care too much for the dryer but he behaved for everything else. He looks so cute.

Another Wonderful Thursday

We picked up Hannah around 4 today. She had lots of hard homework. She breezed through the subtraction paper (renaming and regrouping). Then spelling sentences and off to Pet Smart to buy Seamus another car seat for Grandpa's car. We stopped at Boston Market and brought dinner home to eat. Hannah is such a joy to be around. She has such a positive outlook on everything.
